Rasmussen on CTSen: Gap between Blumenthal and McMahon narrowest since May

The Connecticut US Senate race hasn't gotten much attention from the mainstream media, but that is bound to change, now that Rasmussen Reports' latest poll has Democrat Richard Blumenthal leading Republican Linda McMahon by just five percentage points, 50 percent to 45 percent. Only three percent are undecided.

The wife of World Wrestling Entertainment founder Vince McMahon, the so-called experts have not been taking the former WWE CEO seriously. Say what you will about professional wrestling--I've heard it's fake--it is a fabulously successful business enterprise.

She's a winner, and Blumenthal, the Nutmeg State's popular attorney general, lied about serving in Vietnam.

Which makes Blumenthal the fake in this race.

UPDATE September 28: A new Quinnipiac poll has the gap even narrower, 49 to 46 percent, with Blumenthal leading.
