Boehner backs tax cuts, Obama says he has "better ways" to spend your money

This morning House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) appeared on CBS' Face the Nation, where he told host Bob Schieffer that he supports middle class tax cuts. Reluctantly, he said he would support President Obama's plan to extend the Bush tax cuts only for those earning less than $250,000 a year. Boehner called it "bad policy" to exclude those who, in my words, are the job-creating class. Half of all small businesses, Boehner said, would see their taxes go up if the Democrats have their way.

As for Obama and the tax cuts for the so-called rich, last week he told Good Morning America's George Stephanopolous, "There are a whole bunch better ways to spend the money."

That's the difference between liberals and conservatives. Liberals think they know better than you on how to spend your money. Conservatives trust the people.

You have two "tax" words in the title, but it's a good story.
