I have some catching up to do--Blogger.com was down for almost 24 hours, so I'm throwing three posts into one.
Rep. Bill Foster of Batavia is probably the most vulnerable of the Illinois' Congressional Democrats this fall. Bill Baar reports that Foster says tax bills are at the lowest rate since 1950. Even if that is true, which I doubt, too much spending is what is angering voters.
Last week I came to the obvious conclusion that the surest way to receive a job offer is to oppose a White House Senate favorite in a Democratic Primary. Using the cartoon form, Nate Beeler adds to the dialogue.
A fairly new Illinois conservative blog, Plumwood Road, is posting some great patriotic entries. It's author, Jed Skilling, was published again in the American Thinker last week.
