In his own words, the President Obama became president to deliver "transformational change." But not to govern. The nitty gritty details of running the nation, such as protecting our coastline, don't interest him. But pushing the nation into a green economy, where Spain failed, and setting up an expensive cap and trade energy scheme, that is what gives him joy. We elected a community organizer with no executive experience to run the most powerful nation on Earth. We should not be surprised how this story is turning out.
The Wall Street Journal's Peggy Noonan expresses similar sentiments.
