Rahm: I'd like to be Chicago's mayor

Although the smart money is that Mayor Richard M. Daley will run for a sixth term next year, White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel told Charlie Rose in a PBS interview that will air tonight that he'd like to occupy the storied fifth-floor office at Chicago's City Hall sometime in the future.

Until becoming chief of staff, Emanuel was a congressman representing a district that covered much of the city's Northwest Side.

Chicago is known for its hot-tempered mayors, including Daley, his father, and Jane Byrne. Rahm should fit right in.
