Wal-Mart has created a Facebook application, Show of Support. It works like this: Users download the app, which will appear on their Facebook profile page. The app allows visitors to show support to a friend or family member serving in the military. Other Facebook members can be recruited as supporters, and messages can be sent to that member of our military by using the application.
In related news, on Friday Wal-Mart gave away over 10,000 books and toys to children who have a parent serving in our military.
