Despite the plethora of "Putting America Back To Work" signs across Illinois, our state unemployment rate is now at 11 percent, the highest in over 26 years. One year ago it was at 6.8 percent. As with everyone else who lives here, I know many people who are unemployed.
I'm hoping that the Democrats won't use this news to push Gitmo North in Thomson.
But I bet they do.
