Stimulus project puts crater on Chicago's Kennedy Expressway

The sign on the left is promoting Barack Obama's economic stimulus boondoggle was designed to create jobs. Well, there will a lot of overtime in Chicago for the next couple of days for a lucky few. A construction mishap on Chicago's Kennedy Expressway caused a pavement collapse--which has made all but one of the northbound lanes impassable.

The traffic obstruction, which was the lead story on all of the local television newscasts, is about 100 yards away from that sign. It's just west of the city's Loop--if there is a worse place for a crater on a Chicago expressway, kindly inform me of the spot.
