The Daily Herald reported yesterday morning that Illinois former attorney general Jim Ryan will officially enter the race for governor.
The Elmhurst Republican has been a distinguished fellow at his alma mater, Benedictine University, since 2003. Ryan was the GOP nominee for governor in 2002, Illinois voters made a colossal blunder by choosing Rod Blagojevich instead.
