Copper and pine
On the left is what I believe is the quintessential Upper Michigan of Peninsula picture. The rock has a vein of copper running through it--the green part--and on its side is a young red pine tree.
I took this photograph at the Quincy Unit of the
Keweenaw National Historic Park.
