Hey Biden: Where are the jobs?

In May, President Obama's pointman on the economic stimulus boondoggle, Vice President Joe Biden, reported that 150,000 jobs had been "saved or created" by the $787 billion mega-bill. I'm still not sure about that "saved" part and how that is measured. On that same day, Biden wrote, "Looking ahead, an additional 600,000 jobs are expected to be created or saved under the Recovery Act in the next 100 days."

That means we should be up to 750,000 new jobs. Let's just dropped that "saved" crap.

Meanwhile, last week a higher than expected 558,000 workers filed for first-time unemployment benefits.

Many of those workers who have jobs are concerned about whether they will be keeping them. Gallup reports that 31 percent of workers are worried about getting laid off, compared to 15 percent a year ago.

Scroll down one post and you'll see that sign makers are doing well in the Obama economy.
