Will disgraced former Governor Rod Blagojevich will put his crayons away and forget about writing his tell-all book?
The day after being hit with a sweeping indictment, the Illinois House overwhelmingly passed a bill that would prevent elected officials convicted of a crime from making a profit after a conviction from things like book deals.
The bill was sponsored by Rep. Jack Franks (D-Woodstock), a longtime Blagojevich critic. Just two House members voted against the measure. One of them was Deborah Mell (D-Chicago), Blago's sister-in-law.
