Hair-brained former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich has been officially indicted as I write this post, but the 12.8 million residents of Illinois needn't worry about Sen. Roland Burris (D-Blagojevich). Politico caught up with Burris, who said he has nothing to hide and that he is not a target in the criminal case against Blago.
Astute followers of politics know that Burris has given at least a half a dozen explanations on the circumstance leading up to his December 29 appointment to the Senate seat vacated by Barack Obama.

Will the authorities wait until
Blago returns from Disney World,
or will they nab him in Florida?
It just seems a little too
convenient, how he planned this
trip with his family, knowing of
his impending indictment. this guy
is really clueless, to think he can
do whatever he wants, and get away
with it.
