MSNBC's Maddow mistaken on Hoover

I think it's safe to say that more people have watch Abby Elliott's Saturday Night Live impersonation of Rachel Maddow than have actually watched Maddow's MSNBC show.

But Newsbusters was watching Friday and they've noted a maddening pattern of Maddow distorting the record of our 31st president, Herbert Hoover.

Maddow made the false claim that Hoover froze federal spending during his four years in office, which Newsbusters busts Maddow on. Hoover increased spending.

She then went on to tie Hoover's "policies" to those of House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio).

Maddow has Man-sized opinion of himself . . .herself.

Maddow reminds me of the Honors Student/sneak/over-reacher/back-stabber student - I encountered only a very few of these twerps in my three decades of teaching.

These waterbugs never had an original thought in their noggins and were generally addicted to Cliffs Notes.

And you know about the misuse of Cliffs Notes, Pat.

Hoover must've been a stand up guy,
