If Burris didn't flat-out lie to the 13 million citizens of Illinois last month while he testified to the House impeachment panel, he certainly showed horrendous judgemenet by leaving information out of his testimony.
Resign now. As for Burris' replacement, a special election needs to be called
so the people of Illinois, not a politician, choose Illinois' next senator.

if Burris were so all fired honest and upfront, why did the Sun Times have to reveal the existence of the affidavit?
He should have held a press conference prior to the submission.
Like I said, time for Roland to roll on.
Though, I did enjoy the Willie Tyler and Lester impersonations he and his lawyer pulled off, brilliantly I might add, at the 2/15 presser.
Let him stick around so that he'll lose next year. The only thing we really need to know is that Blago appointed him. And then this comes out. But ole but chose to take this controversial appointment instead of making it difficult for Blago. Now it's more difficult on Mr. Burris.

I am saddened that Mr. Burris allowed himself to lured with the vanity of the title Senator by Blago and that his name will be forever tarnished with scorn. Too bad.
