Your Monday night Blago scandals reader, vanity edition

Once again, it was another busy day regarding our gangster-governor, Rod Blagojevich. The Chicago Democrat had a big win today, later this week, his choice for the US Senate, Roland Burris, will be sworn in as a Senator.

But soon it won't matter for the soon-to-be former governor of Illinois. Gelimer, the last Vandal king, reportedly muttered, "Vanity of vanities; all is vanity" after surrendering to Byzantine emperor Justinian the Great. He was quoting Ecclesiastes.

That statement works on many levels.

Here is tonight's Blago scandals reader, vanity edition.
