Your abbreviated Saturday night Blago scandals reader

Much of the nation is immersed in Obama-mania, but I'm still keeping an eye on the disgraced governor of the Chosen One's home state, Rod Blagojevich.

There's not a lot of Blago news this evening. But I'm going to keep the flame alive.

Kankakee Daily Journal: Legislators seek to keep Blagojevich from funds

Chicago Tribune: Quinn names Ryan scandal victim to government cleanup panel

Hartford Courant: Shouldn't senators be elected?

Chicago Sun-Times: The peak and the valley: Obama & Blago

That's all for tonight. Barring a surprise, keep in mind Blagojevich is a master of them, look for thinner editions of this series until after Inauguration Day.

I'll be one of a few souls, who
won't be tuned in to Obama's
Inauguration celebration televised
this coming Tuesday. Even if Blago
"blew up" the governor's mansion,
he still wouldn't get half as much
media attention as Obama has since
being elected the (44th) president!

That was my version of "Political"
humor. As always, thanks for your
reply!
