Democrat Dick Durbin, the state’s other U.S. senator, has said he wants to talk to Blagojevich about who might replace Obama. But spokesman Joe Shoemaker said Durbin's calls to the governor haven't been returned.
"He has not been able to talk to him. We've tried," Shoemaker said.
Durbin is the Senate's second-ranked Democrat.

I think Blagojevich's chances of
reelection are pretty much gone.
Kinda wonder why Roddy is not
returning Durbin's calls?
Blagojevich will have a striped
jumpsuit soon.
I suddenly have new found respect for Blago. Anybody who can diss Durbin can't be all bad.
Excellent point dm60462
Blagojevich obviously hasn't been making good decision for anyone or any city... rides for seniors-CTA plummet & meters... Now we expect "Howdy Dudi" to pick Obama's successor? He's not answering because he's NOT CAPABLE of making the right decision!
