The erstwhile "Goldwater Girl"--she peaked early--from the house on the right in Park Ridge, Illinois, will suspend her campaign for the presidency on Saturday.Where did she go wrong? The "inevitable Democratic nominee" made a lot of mistakes, including on running on experience when she has little, not having a post-Super Tuesday strategy, and having too many Clintonista retreads on her campaign staff.
But in my opinion, it all started on the night before Halloween last year, when Hillary Clinton bungled Tim Russert's "licences for illegals" at the Drexel University debate in Philadelphia.
After that night, she looked vulnerable and not inevitable.
