UPDATED March 19:
Added my Bill Kristol of the New York Times:
In this column, I cite a report that Sen. Obama had attended services at Trinity Church on July 22, 2007. The Obama campaign has provided information showing that Senator Obama did not attend Trinity that day. I regret the error.
On the Fox News Channel Friday night, Barack Obama told Major Garrett if he had "repeatedly" heard the type of inflammatory comments such as the ones blasting the internet by his former pastor, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, he would have quit Trinity United Church.
From Bill Kristol's New York Times column:
But Ronald Kessler, a journalist who has written about Wright’s ministry, claims that Obama was in fact in the pews at Trinity last July 22. That’s when Wright blamed the "arrogance" of the “United States of White America" for much of the world’s suffering, especially the oppression of blacks. In any case, given the apparent frequency of such statements in Wright’s preaching and their centrality to his worldview, the pretense that over all these years Obama had no idea that Wright was saying such things is hard to sustain.
If Kessler is correct, Obama heard Wright's bile once while sitting in the pews. Over the last twenty years, were there other times?

Who cares if he was there for that one? You can't tell me Obama went to that church for 20 some odd years and NEVER heard Wright go off.
Bam signed on to the church to get some props and roots in the community.
So, either Bam either didn't hear, or he didn't care, and I'm laying wager on the latter.
Didn't Oprah leave that church because of Wright?
Maybe the question should be: What did Oprah know, and when did she know it - and ..., why didn't she tell Barak? Or did she?
