I don't view this as a surprise, despite what Brett Baer just said on the Fox News Channel when announcing that Mike Huckabee is the winner of the Kansas Caucuses.
The Christian evangelical vote, probably even more so than in Iowa, is an enormous force in the Sunflower State. And that vote of course makes up a big chunk of the former Arkansas governor's support.
And Iowa, like Kansas, is a caucus state.
Huckabee will win at least 24 of Kansas' 36 delegates.
And for those people who think, because of the enthusiasm shown for Barack Obama at the El Dorado rally and his win in Tuesday's Democratic Caucuses, that the Dems have a chance of winning Kansas in November--uh, get real and seek therapy.
McCain will easily defeat his Democratic opponent this fall there.
