Sunday night's odds and sods

A trip around the blogosphere tonight starts with Conservative Cat, who jumps all over Rep. John Murtha (D-PA), who as I and others blogged, first said the troop surge was working, but then, in a pandering move to the nutroots, said the war in Iraq can't be won.

However, SoCal Pundit says that theft of municipal water offers proof that we are winning in Iraq.

Anita at Prairie Dreams in Greensburg, Kansas reports that FEMA trailers aren't particularly warm. The winter storm that hit much of the Midwest, including the Chicago area, hit Kansas much harder. It was 17 degrees this morning there, whereas it was 35 degrees here. Which was very good news for me, since we had freezing rain last night, and had it not warmed up, I'd be taking a taxi to work Monday morning.

Do you want to see how life is on the front lines as the Republican Party works to take back the Land of Lincoln? Then head to the Illinois GOP Network.

Still in Illinois, Billy Dennis of Peoria Pundits informs his readers that there is a new Peoria blogger, an anonymous one, who calls his blog, City Without A Subway, referring of course to Peoria. Peoria has Subways, but not a subway.

Peoria is a bloggy town.
