Muhammad Salah sentenced to 21 months in prison
Judge Amy St. Eve, who is presently presiding over the Conrad Black trial in Chicago, today sentenced alleged Hamas operative Muhammad Salah to 21 months in prison for lying in a civil suit.
Earlier this year Salah and his two co-defendants were found not guilty of more serious terror-related and money laundering charges.
Salah is a member of the notorious Bridgeview Mosque.
The trial took a bizarre turn late last year when the defense attempted to use since-fired DePaul University Professor Norman Finkelstein as an expert witness. Finkelstein's testimony would've likely drawn upon his belief of the power of the Israel lobby in the United States.a
