Another wind farm is being built in North Dakota, and there is little opposition to its construction.
Why is that? Because the Kennedy family and a bunch of Cape Cod millionaires don't live nearby, which is what's delaying the Cape Wind project off of the Massachusetts coast.
While he was governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney, did all he could to hold things on Cape Wind. Which is sad, because otherwise I like him as a candidate.
There's a new book on this mess by Wendy Williams and Robert Whitcomb, Cape Wind: Money, Celebrity, Class, Politics, and the Battle for Our Energy Future on Nantucket Sound It looks like it's a good read.
