Victory in Rogers Park: Communist takeover thwarted

The Communist May Day coup d'etat in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood has been beaten down by the truth, justice, and the American way.

From Rogers Park Bench:

I am speaking to you, the Armed Forces of the Chicagoland Allied Forces at this moment of history. The war, to which we have devoted all the resources and all the energy of our country for more than eight and a half hours, has now produced total victory over all our enemies.

The future for Rogers Park is bright. Alderman Joe Moore has been shipped off to Gitmo where he can spend more time with his friends.

Parking, however, remains a problem in this densely populated corner of Chicago.

But sources tell me that a bald eagle has nested in Loyola Park.
