Michael Moore & Me: Canadian filmmakers couldn't get Moore for an interview in their documentary about him

To paraphrase Winston Churchill, Michael Moore is a lie wrapped around a half-truth covered with misinformation.

It's difficult to keep track of all the falsehood and deceptions in Moore's "documentaries," and liberal Canadian filmmakers, the husband and wife team Debbie Melnyk and Rick Caine not only found out more Moore lies, but they discovered he's not (surprise!) a very nice person.

From the London Telegraph:

Back home, this was proving to be our most difficult film. Practically everyone we spoke to was nervous. All too frequently we tried to interview people - friends, colleagues, former and current employees - who refused to talk on camera but had plenty to say on the phone.

A former producer explained: 'There's a great story about how he is impossible to work for and he's an impossible person. That's the story most of us would like to do. I just don't want to do it.'

One woman who had worked with him positively hissed at me: 'You're not going to make me say anything bad about him. Why are you doing this film?'

Then she slammed down the phone. I'll say this again: we had no preconceived notions about what Moore's colleagues and friends would say.

And guess what? Like the hunted General Motors chairman in his first "documentary," Roger & Me, Moore wouldn't speak to the filmmakers.
