Cross makes its way onto Chicago's Daley Plaza
Today is Good Friday, and there is some good news in Chicago regarding church-state issues.
As I blogged shortly before Christmas last year, a preview loop of the The Nativity Story had a difficult time staying in place in Chicago's Daley Plaza, a city-owned parcel of land. Common sense won out, and the clip was allowed to play.
Today a friend of the blog sent me a Chicago Tribune article, reporting that a 19 foot cross has been set up in the same plaza--and will stay there until after Sunday's sunrise Easter service concludes.

The International Herald-Tribune adds its viewpoint here, and there is no registration requirement.
