Usually when Chicago aldermen are arrested--which is often--it's for stuff like bribe taking.
That's the case with Ald. Arenda Troutman. But the FBI hooked a bit more than they bargained for when they arrested her earlier this week.
From NBC 5 Chicago:
The FBI entered Troutman's home Monday and said they found several questionable items, which include three loaded guns by her nightstand, drugs/drug paraphernalia, and a bag of shredded documents.
When they searched her office, they allegedly seized a white powdery substance, a Christmas card from a police commissioner with a $100 bill in it, 11 computers, drug paraphernalia and personal correspondence, NBC 5's Mary Ann Ahern reported.
Only in Chicago.
