Rachel Corrie's parents briefly held as hostages in Gaza, terror supporting International solidarity Movement denies it
A few days ago I had a post with the headline, "Gaza's gone out of control." It's so bad there now, the terrorists are holding "friendlies" as hostages.
Hat tip to our man in Arizona, Pat Curley of Brainster, the Desert Fox.
Rachel Corrie was an Evergreen State University student and member of the radical International Solidarity Movement who was run over by an Israeli Defense Force bulldozer three years ago in a Gaza village adjacent to the Egyptian border. The IDF bulldozer was there to level a house believed to be weapons warehouse. Rachel refused to get out of the way of the bulldozer--even the seemingly dense Okies in the Grapes of Wrath had enough sense to move away in time--and was crushed to death by the vehicle. That's Rachel in Gaza in happier times, burning an American flag.
She's now a martyr to the Palestinians and the Israel-hating left.
Rachel's parents are professional grieving protesters of the Cindy Sheehan mode.
So imagine Ma and Pa Corrie's surprise when Gaza gunmen held them as hostages for a few moments today.
The International Solidarity Movement is denying the reports.
As a rule, I'm very suspicious of terror supporting organizations. Sounds like a cover-up.
