(Video) Joe Walsh criticizes CAIR and Tammy Duckworth on issue of radical Islam

Last week Rep. Joe Walsh at a town hall said or radidal Islam that "it is a threat that is much more at home now than it was after 9/11."

That comment has driven his Democratic opponent, Tammy Duckworth, as well as Council on American Islamic Relations, into a frenzy.

And as I explained yesterday, there is a push, almost certainly driven by Democratic operatives, to tie the air rifle incident at the Morton Grove mosque to Walsh--which is a spurious charge.

Here are a some of his comments:
However, some want to pretend that these threats do not exist. CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, wants me to apologize for what I said. It is important to know that The Department of Homeland Security and the FBI have severed all ties with CAIR because of their ties to terrorism. Let me be clear. Bowing down to political correctness has and will get Americans killed, we must always speak the truth to this threat no matter how politically incorrect. Yet, Tammy Duckworth agrees with CAIR, when she calls me irresponsible.
