Lib congressman Cohen on Zimmerman: "He should have been watching Rachel Maddow"; "a vigilante"

Steve Cohen (D-TN)
Yes, even I break down and listen to National Public Radio. This afternoon I tuned in to Smiley and West, which is hosted by Tavis Smiley, a far-left denizen, and Cornel West, a Marxist academic.

One of their guests was Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN), who made judgements about a subject he knows very little about--George Zimmerman and the Trayvon Martin shooting.

"You know this man down there, Zimmerman, obviously has got a little problem," Cohen told the hosts. "He's got a real problem. I mean he should have had a life. He should have been watching Rachel Maddow or something rather than going out there and stalking people."

That part of Cohen's conversation begins at the 16:17 mark. His tone of voice is serious, there was no laughter by Cohen--or from West or Smiley.

Later in the show he called Zimmerman "a vigilante."

Once again I have to restate that the death of Trayvon Martin is a tragedy. But we don't know all of the facts on this case.

Not surprisingly, the leftist trio did not bring up the vigilante justice suggested by a leader of the New Black Panther Party--a $10,000 reward for Zimmerman.

That is vigilantism.

Two years ago Cohen compared the Tea Party to the Ku Klux Klan. Clearly he doesn't know the facts about the Tea Party movement. Click here for the audio.

Last year he referred to GOP opposition to ObamaCare as "a big lie just like [Nazi propaganda minister Joseph] Goebbels."

It appears that Cohen is watching a lot of Rachel Maddow on MSNBC.
