Since Finland has been in the news here lately--$500 billion Obama stimulus money ended up there--I felt that the northern European country deserved to be the subject of my Saturday musical selection.
Watch as Michael Palin croons his song "Finland," which can be found on the Monty Python Sings album.
This clip comes from Palin's BBC documentary Pole to Pole. Not only are we treated to a border crossing and some wondrous natural scenes, but we get to see the Englishman visit Santa.
An adapted version of "Finland" is the opening song in the play Spamalot.
