Paul McCartney at Wrigley Field

Little Marathon Pundit and I were fortunate enough to attend Sunday night's concert at Wrigley Field. Macca played for almost three hours. The onetime Beatle still has the magic. Yes, he'll turn 70 next year, but he plays like a young man. His energetic touring band adds to his energy--while not propping him up. Last night was light years beyond the embarrassing Super Bowl performance of The Who two years ago. And they played just 12 minutes.

Clark, Addison, Waveland, and Sheffield streets were closed to most vehicle traffic. There I am between the two police officers.

Official tour merchandise on sale. The cheapest t-shirt goes for $40.

About one hour before showtime.

Wrigley Field's upper deck. During "Get Back," the stands would vibrate.

Paul singing "Back in the USSR." Roughly half of his set list consisted of Beatles songs.

Pyrotechnics during "Live and Let Die."
