I first heard about this story while watching Fox News this morning.
In what appears to have been a Jack Nicholson impression--I'm trying to find video to post here--Vice President Joe Biden told Teamsters at their annual convention, "And don't any of you, by the way, any of you guys vote Republican, I'm not supposed to say, this isn't political. ...don't come to me if you do! You're on your own, Jack!"
There's nothing wrong with Nicholson, although the acclaimed actor portrayed longtime Teamster boss Jimmy Hoffa in the eponymous 1992 film. The elder Hoffa, his son is president of the Teamsters now, was widely assumed to be an associate of various organized crime figures. Hoffa served a prison sentence for jury tampering and of course most famously disappeared without a trace in 1975.
Democrats, this is your party.
Oh, didn't President Obama twice chide business leaders for perceived junkets to Las Vegas? He did.
