As Warner Todd Huston notes, it's the Democrats who complain that conservatives pay dirty politics. But OutsideLansing has uncovered a tea party scam--petitions are being gathered in Michigan for a new political party, the Tea Party. But it appears the group who is behind the effort is tied to the Democrats. Signature gatherers are being paid roughly $1 for each autograph--how ACORN like. Technorati tags:

Isuspect many fake groups are out there. Some just for fund raising purposes and others have a darker motive.
