Sunday May 16 in Morton Grove: Rally for Joel Pollak

Sadly, I have to work on Sunday, but I'm urging everyone else to head over to Morton Grove's Linne Woods for a Joel Pollak rally. He's the Republican candidate for Illinois' 9th Congressional District.

The event, which will include musical performances, is free. Linne Woods is on Dempster Avenue, just east of Lehigh. It takes place from Noon to 3pm.

In addition to Joel, gubernatorial candidate Bill Brady and Cook County Board candidate Roger Keats will be there.

I've spoken with Joel a couple of times, he's blessed with a keen acumen that will add much needed levity to Congress.
