Metra head commits suicide, jumps in front of one of his trains

Phil Pagano, the longtime head of Metra, the Chicago area's commuter rail service, committed suicide this morning in Crytal Lake, by jumping in front of a Metra train.

He was expeceted to be fired today because of finanical irregularities. Those indiscretions attacted the attention of federal officials, and he had been banned from traveling outside the six-county Chicago region.
