Dem pawnbroker candidate met ex-girlfriend at massage parlor known for prostitution

The Chicago Tribune did some research on the massage parlor where Scott Lee Cohen, the pawnbroker who is the Democratic candidate for lieutenant governor, met his onetime girlfriend, who he was accused of assaulting.

The Glenview business attracted complaints about prostitution; in fact, Cohen's former girlfriend, known as "Mandi" there, pleaded guilty to one charge of prostitution in 2005.

"Mandi" still works for the company.

Cohen denies he assaulted the woman--the charge was thrown out when "Mandi" didn't appear in court.
