Upper Peninsula Upventure: Keweenaw Waterway Bridge

This drawbridge connects the Upper Peninsula towns of Houghton and Hancock, it spans the Keweenwaw Waterway, once a busy channel traversed by freighters filled with recently mined copper.

Both municipalities are college towns, Houghton is the home of Michigan Tech, Finlandia University is in Hancock.
