This post is dedicated to Chicago's Pat Hickey of ...With Both Hands.
Surrounded by three of the five Great Lakes, Michigan's Upper Peninsula has no shortage of water. It also has plenty of rivers and creeks. Many of the rivers are narrower than Hickey Creek in Schoolcraft County, near the unincorporated town of Seney.
Hickey the blogger is the author of a novel, "The Chorito Hog Leg, Book 1: A Novel of Guam in Time of War."
Seney, which I'll cover in the next few posts, has ties to another Illinois writer.
