Hiawatha National Forest's Obama stimulus "campaign sign"

Near the shores of Gitche Gumee,
The shining Big-Sea-Water,
Stands a road sign, heralding the work of Dear Leader,
The greatest community organizer of all,
Behold, for he is mightier than Hiawatha.

Yea, roads shall connect the many tribes,
Who soon shall become one Great Tribe,
Noble Barack Obama shall unite us,
And guide us,
And provide for us.

On my way back to Morton Grove, I chose the long journey, taking U.S. Route 2 and other roads into Wisconsin, along the shores of another Big-Sea-Water, Lake Michigan, through Hiawatha National Forest.

This Barack Obama economic stimulus 2012 reelection campaign sign, is the companion placard to the one I wrote about Thursday night. As with that one, this sign includes the name of a lesser-chief, Jennifer Granholm, leader of the Michee-gan tribe.

Look for this message on Pte. Aux Chaines Road in eastern Mackinac County. The contractor for this tribute to the Great Chief, for you inquisitive types, is GEBS. I'm not a fan of posting phone numbers on Marathon Pundit, but since GEBS boldly stenciled it on the back of this sign, I'm listing it here: 616-531-8705.

Perhaps they can explain how the name of the lesser-chief was included on the advertisement.

Though the forests and the rivers
Sang and shouted at his coming,
Not all have yet heard the epic of Dear Leader.

Praise and blessings to Henry Wadsworth Longfellow for inspiring this post.
