After much promising, I've finally brought you to Yosemite National Park. Unlike other national parks, there isn't a big sign marking the entrance--which of course makes for a great family photo op.
But just past the entrance is Arch Rock, which I don't recommend as a family picture spot--it very well could be your last family photo.
The first big waterfall we saw was Bridalveil Fall. Yes, it's singular, not plural.
We climbed up pretty far and got close to the fall--which takes some skill, and some people have trouble with the ascent and get hurt, or even suffer fatal injuries.
That's not the type of "California Collision" anyone wants.
