Questions for Obama about Gov. Blagojevich

From my e-mail box, courtesy of the Illinois Republican Party:

CHICAGO - In light of reports that Barack Obama will be holding an economic discussion with Democratic Governors from throughout the country, the Illinois Republican Party is asking if that includes Rod Blagojevich and is hoping Senator Obama will elaborate on these simple questions:

1.) Does Rod Blagojevich still have a role with your campaign?

2.) If so, what role is Rod Blagojevich playing in your campaign?

3.) Do you welcome Rod Blagojevich being a part of your campaign?

4.) You returned all of Tony Rezko's dirty money, will you call on Rod Blagojevich to return the $1.4 million he received from Tony Rezko, as well?

5.) A recent poll of Illinois voters found that 59% support beginning impeachment proceedings against Rod Blagojevich, do you share the same view with the majority of your constituents?

The questions are simple. It's time Senator Obama let his constituents know in a straightforward manner where he stands on these issues.

... after all, Barack did endorse our illustrious governor - which helped Rod, quite a bit.

And due to that, he should HAVE to answer any/all questions related to Rod.

If Barack doesn't - there's your "hope and change"
