Dem Rep Schakowsky waffles when asked if she was one of 26 Democrats who voted to ban fracking

One reason why you see leftists, with occasional exceptions, appearing only on friendly networks such as MSNBC and CNN, is that they aren't asked tough questions. 

Nominally I am represented by Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) in Congress. 

Until the arrival of the Squad, Schakowsky was possibly the most liberal member in the House. 

Watch and laugh as Schakowsky squirms as she blames oil companies for not producing enough petroleum--then refuses to answer if she was one of the 26 Dems who voted to ban fracking. 

She was one of them.

1 dead and at least 17 wounded over weekend in Chicago

Over the first weekend of April 2022 one person was shot to death and at least 17 others were wounded. 

The fatality was in the Logan Square neighborhood, a man was shot dead during an argument on a sidewalk. Logan Square of course is where Mayor Lori Lightfoot lives, and last week the extent of the large police detail--over 70 officers--became public. 

Among the wounded were two people shot in a hostage situation at the Ford City Mall on the Southwest Side. Police fatally shot the man holding those hostages.
