The Kinks - Destroyer

Two weeks ago, one mile away from Marathon Pundit world headquarters, Mrs. MP and I traveled a mile south to the Skokie's Backlot Bash, where we saw Chicago area band Tributosaurus for a Kinks show. Oh, they perform other tributes too, as you probably ascertained.

They played four Kinks tunes--before an electric deluge of a storm hit. For safety reasons the show, and the rest of the festival, was cancelled.

Here's one of the songs Tributosaurus played, "Destroyer" from Give The People What They Want.

On the tour to support that album, I saw them, the real Kinks that is, play "Destroyer" and more in Champaign, Illinois.
