Chicago alderman's restaurant caught violating city's indoor dining ban

Another left-wing politician has been exposed as a COVID-19 lockdown hypocrite.

From ABC Chicago:
Ann Sather Restaurant is among the latest businesses facing possible action from the city for violations of the indoor dining ban, which is notable not just because it's a Lakeview staple, but also because of who the owner is.
Chicago Alderman Tom Tunney has been a city ally of Mayor Lori Lightfoot, but on this, she was unequivocal.
"Any business found in violation of these guidelines has been and will be held fully accountable. No exceptions," the mayor said.
After being called out on social media, the 44th Ward alderman admitted to an "error in judgment" for allowing regular customers to dine in at one of his Ann Sather restaurants despite the city's ban on indoor dining due to COVID-19.
Ann Sather Restaurant has a sign on its windown declaring that it is open for delivery and pickup business. But it also allowed a few special customers to eat inside. Tunney claims these VIPs followed social distancing and mask guidelines. Yeah right. Do you seriously believe these chosen few sat six feet apart from each other and wore masks while eating?

Sheesh.

Cudos to the great Second City Cop blog for breaking this story and goes into detail about "the VIP Room" at Ann Sather.

Mayor Beetlejuice is a hypocrite too. She also broke earlier lockdown rules by having her hair done by a stylist. Although to be fair Chicagoans have little to fear over Lightfoot's hair--it's what's inside her head that is troubling. And a few days she appeared maskless among a large outdoor crowd celebrating Joe Biden being declared the victor in the presidential race Lightweight imposed her latest lockdown.
