Two nights ago Rachel Maddow hyped that she had Donald Trump's federal tax returns and deep into her otherwise little-watched show, she revealed them.
Trump's taxes didn't reveal any bombshells. Here's a broadcasting tip, Rachel. If you build up a story--make sure it's worth building up!
Oh, Trump paid taxes on 25 percent of his income, a higher rate than Barack Obama, Mitt Romney, and Bernie Sanders paid.
But remember when the naysayers claimed when Trump paid no federal income taxes?

According to reports Maddow's show reaped a ratings bonanza based on her hyping the Trump tax return story, so in that respect it was a success.
