NY Times #FakeNews: Nothing unusual about "abruptly" asking for US atty resignations

It's normal for incoming presidential administrations to demand resignations from US attorneys.

From the failing New York Times:
The Trump administration moved on Friday to sweep away most of the remaining vestiges of Obama administration prosecutors at the Justice Department, ordering 46 holdover United States attorneys to tender their resignations immediately — including Preet Bharara, the United States attorney in Manhattan.
A better report from the Washington Examiner:
"Until the new U.S. attorneys are confirmed, the dedicated career prosecutions in our U.S. Attorney's Offices will continue the great work of the department in investigating, prosecuting, and deterring the most violent offenders," said spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores in a statement Friday afternoon.

According to Flores, both the George W. Bush and Clinton administrations had a similar request at the beginning of their presidencies. President Obama phased out Bush administration attorneys more gradually.
But they were dismissed. Oh sure, the New York Slimes gets a similar point later on in its deceptive article, but many readers most likely have tuned out by then.
