If you take all of the guns out of Chicago people will still kill other people.
Ban bleach?
Oh, the alleged murder occurred in the notorious Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.
From CBS Chicago:
The family of a 26-year-old man who died when his girlfriend allegedly forced him to drink bleach said they “hope justice is served” and she “rots in jail.”Related League of Shadows posts:
Police said Yasmine Elder got into a fight with her boyfriend, Darius Ellis, while sitting in a van around 1:45 a.m. Monday at 65th and Bishop streets.
At Elder’s bond hearing Thursday afternoon, prosecutors said she pinned Ellis down, and doused him in bleach. Ellis swallowed some of the bleach in the process, and died less than two hours later at Stroger Hospital.
"He died a horrible death," said Ellis" cousin, Kiara Clark.

When I was a lad in Baltimore in the 50's the "disadvantaged" citizens by and large didn't use guns against each other. The weapon of choice was lye. Throw lye in the face of the transgressor.
Also I remember in the Dirty Harry opus "Magnum Force" a pimp kills one of his "girls" in the back of a cab by forcing some liquid down her throat.
Yikes!
What kind of wussy was this guy who let a woman pin him down and force bleach in his mouth?
