Corpse found on Detroit airport runway

Stories such as this one only seem to come out of Detroit. Don't worry, Motown, in twenty years Chicago will take your place on the bottom rung of the urban ladder.

From the Detroit Free Press:
Police are investigating a body found today on the runway at Coleman A. Young International Airport in Detroit.

Air traffic controllers saw something, a guard went to investigate and discovered the body of a man around noon, police said.

He's been identified as a 61-year-old Detroit man, Detroit Police Sgt. Adam Madera said this afternoon.

"We haven't located any trauma to the body," he said.
Like most of Detroit, the neighborhood where the airport is located is dismal and unhappy.
